It offers great location really close to the attractions on the island, Skara Brae and the major sites on mainland Orkney. The staff are very obliging and really kind, managed the parking across the road.

The noise from the bar was unbearable, especially in upper rooms!!! Poor Wi-Fi connection made planning activities a hassle. The remote location can leave guests stranded without a car. Consider adjusting the heating system for better comfort!!!

The bar offered a good selection of good beer and cider, while the restaurant showcased stylish dining with really good food, particularly the scallops. The remote location may be inconvenient for those without their own transport, and the bus service was minimal. For those wishing to explore, a local taxi service is a necessity, but it can be arranged easily.

excellent base for exploring orkney's rich history and nature

I found this place an awesome starting point for my city strolls, as it was close to the captivating Corrigall Farm Museum, just over 3 km away, and a short walk to the tranquility of Loch of Bosquoy, almost 3 km from the hotel with beautiful park views that I really enjoyed during my weekend stay. The staff were cheerful and helpful.
